My background is not a conventional one. My main career was 20 years in the fire service, but the link from there to here is more obvious than it seems at first glance.

The fire service was more than just a career, it was a calling, driven by a desire to help people and make a tangible difference in their lives. Whether it was responding to emergencies or working behind the scenes, my focus was always on safety, support and making things better for the community. This deeply ingrained sense of purpose naturally translates into my work at Amplify Properties today.

My journey into property sourcing began through working closely with private investors. Understanding briefs, budgets, and specifications wasn’t just about ticking boxes; it was about truly grasping the vision behind each project and delivering properties that fit those needs perfectly. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in sourcing the right opportunities, giving me hands-on insight into the challenges and rewards of property development.

A personal connection further shaped the direction of Amplify Properties. My wife’s work as a nurse in the community care sector opened my eyes to the vital importance of accessible property - designing spaces that accommodate everyone, regardless of physical ability. It felt like a natural and meaningful path to follow. I am committed to championing accessible design, ensuring that our projects don’t just meet standard expectations but genuinely improve quality of life.

Working in property is something I genuinely enjoy. The thrill of transforming spaces, solving problems and sourcing just the right property is incredibly rewarding. I take great satisfaction in collaborating with a diverse range of people and companies - from architects and builders to investors and community members - all working towards a common goal.
